WHAT IS A RUMBLE?

Rumbles are traditional tournament style contest featuring some of the most popular esports games including Rocket League, Valorant, and Overwatch, with new games added each year.

The Esports Tower Rumbles are weekly game-specific challenges showcasing the skills of esports athletes from top ranked high schools across the United States, competing against Esports Tower Premium Club teams, the premier place college recruiters go to scout new talent.

From time-to-time Esports Tower Club Teams will also host exhibition matches and college combine challenges with pro players and assorted teams from college from their recruitment network. Pro players and general managers from FazeClan, Misfits Gaming, eUnited, Kungarna and more have all worked with Esports Tower.

Not surprising since some of the top world ranked amateur players, train at Esports Tower knowing the weekly Rumbles is a great way to get scene.

WHO TYPICALLY GETS TO PLAY?

Esports Tower premium club players describe themselves as highly focused hardcore game enthusiasts. These esports athletes work under the direction of a dedicated professional Esports Tower coach and commit to a minimum of bi-weekly team training sessions and scrimmages.

Valorant is a fast-paced 5v5 character-based tactical FPS where precise gunplay meets unique agent abilities. Published by Riot Games, Valorant has no shortage of battlegrounds and characters to choose from. Valorant’s seasons are known as Acts, each bringing new additions to the game, including new Agents, maps, and modes, keeping gameplay interesting.

Overwatch is a vibrant team-based FPS set on a near-future earth. Every match is an intense 6v6 battle between a cast of unique powerful heroes, each with their own unique abilities. All players begin at endorsement level 1 and can progress to a max level of 5 as teams travel the world, building strengths, and achieving objectives in exhilarating 6v6 combat.

When our coaches talk about being confident in your play, they’re not encouraging your being the aggressor in every situation. Confidence here means trusting your own ability to make the play, hit the shot, or clutch up. When confidence wavers, we recommend switching up your play style for a bit. If you lean towards a duelist main, switch it up and play support for a bit. If you don’t want to do that, don’t be afraid to step away from the game either. You’d be surprised at how much a quick walk outside or trip to the kitchen might help press the mental reset button.

Fortnite is a free-to-play Battle Royale game with numerous game modes for every type of player. Contestants team up to outlast other teams. Use the power of wood, brick, and metal to build structures to help outlast others. There’s always something to look forward to in Fortnite Battle Royale, including new items, weapons, vehicles, sub modes, special events, and “Seasons.” Each new Season brings a distinct theme to the Island, like the past secret agent takeover and giant flood. The current season finds players in outer space.
